The Magnetic Stone

The Rapa Nui people referred to the island as the "navel of the world".  I thought I had heard Christian say this stone was the navel of the world, but I decided I had misheard him.  The stories say that this stone was brought to Easter Island by the King who led the first colonization around 500AD.  

I didn't have anything to test how magnetic the stone was, and did not want to put one of my credit cards at risk.
