The Statue of the Virgin Mary

Below the 36m statue of the Virgin Mary stands Rodrigo (left) and Hector (right).  Rodrigo was my tour guide from Santur and Sergio was our driver guide.

Both Rodrigo and Hector helped me with my Spanish, in addition to being my tour guide.  As you can see, cellular phone are used by many of the Chileans, and for the guides are invaluable.  These two seemed to work amazing hours, often with little sleep.  I remember doing similar hours earlier in my computer career, and I don't envy them the lack of sleep.
